FORREST ESTATE OLIVE GROVE was established
in 1998 by the Gorton Family on their
Millmerran property on the Darling Downs in
Queensland. Two thousand olive trees were
planted on the eastern side of the ridge in
irrigated,
fertile soil, which combined with the
Mediterranean style climate, is ideally suited for growing some of the
best olives in Australia.
 Our
Olive Oil is a special selected blend of Frountoio and Manzanillo to produce an oil
that is light and airy with a fruity taste.
Each year, our
Olive Oil is sent to The Oil
Testing Lab, NSW Department of Primary
Industries, Wagga Wagga, NSW to verify it is
Extra Virgin Olive Oil, First Cold Press of
export quality. Our Olive Oil is
available to purchase in
a variety of sizes, and is ideal for salads, dipping
into bread for the table, kitchen, or cooking whilst travelling.
Forrest Estate Olives are hand picked and processed
in Millmerran, then bottled at our Olive Grove.
Our organic farming practices assist us in offering
a premium product to the public.

is fast becoming a firm favourite with our

FORREST ESTATE WINE CELLAR
was recently opened at the Forrest Estate Olive
Grove, Millmerran in ideal landscaped surrounds with car
parking metres from the door. The Wine Cellar,
featuring the beautiful wines from Preston Peak
Winery,
is wheelchair friendly with a paved entrance and
hosts shaded outdoor tables and chairs for your
relaxation, comfort and convenience.
 Stay awhile and taste the wines and olive oil, or
relax with a cup of your favourite coffee with
a pre-ordered Platter of either home made scones with jam and cream, or a
mixed platter of cracker, cheese, olives, kabana,
olive oil and crisp bread. Come from a drive
for Afternoon tea, or follow the signs off the
Goondiwind Millmerran Highway.
